The Rules:

- Do not touch any props or monsters.
- Phones and Photos are not allowed inside Haunted Stage Stop. (You may take photos outside, before or after your tour.)
- This event is both indoors and outdoors. Be prepared for several sets of staircases, uneven ground and chilly weather.  Yes, we are still open when it is snowing.
- Drunk or visibly intoxicated guests will not be allowed in, and unruly guests will be removed with no refund.
- No food or drinks.  No smoking, vaping, or any open flames.
- Follow the path and watch your step at all times.  No stopping - always keep moving forward.  
- Costumes are fun, and we love the creativity, but they cannot include any props, weapons, or costume masks or hoods that cover the face.  Covid-protection face masks are allowed.

What is Haunted Stage Stop?
- Haunted Stage Stop is an immersive walk-through haunted house in a historic and haunted venue. Local businesses are throwing down with craft cocktails, craft beer, wood-fired pizza & more, and a brand new food truck.

How is Haunted Stage Stop different from other Colorado haunted houses?
- When things get really dark, you will receive a red flashlight.  From this point onwards, you will only see where you point the beam.  
- Group spacing: every few minutes, not every few seconds.  Say goodbye to conga lines and hello to the darkness.

Is Haunted Stage Stop appropriate for my child?
 - We will do our best to scare your children if and when you bring them. The haunted house is dark. You make the parenting decisions; we love scaring humans of any height and size.  Kids are allowed in the Haunted Stage Stop attraction and we love to see them.
OR: Attend our Lights On Kids Tour on Saturdays and Halloween.  Lights On Kids Tour Details: Full walkthrough path across 3 levels with lights on, no actors, creepy music on quiet mode, and animatronics turned off. Uneven ground, steps up and down, 3 staircases, & scary props.  No jump scares.  ABSOLUTELY no touching props.   All humans will receive fun size candy.  Self-guided tour.  Must walk continuously - no stopping! 
Parent(s) / guardian(s) enter FREE.  17 and under must be accompanied by parent(s) or guardian(s)!  Group size must be between 2 and 5 including parent(s) or guardian(s).  

How do I purchase a ticket?

- Purchase tickets with a credit card - Select your date from the calendar on our front page.

Did you raise prices on tickets this year? 
- No.  Ticket prices are the same pricing structure as 2023 (other than Final Tour, which is now a flat rate for any group size).  All taxes and fees are included and shown in the initial ticket price.  SO - what you see is the actual price, and you will not be charged any hidden fees.

Is my timeslot the time I will enter the haunted house?

You may enter the line when your timeslot begins. To provide the best experience for each group, Haunted Stage Stop lets in groups at a slower pace than haunts in the city.  Expect to wait in line before entering.  Wait times can range from 30 to 90 minutes.  The only ticket with no wait-time is our ‘VIP’ ticket.

Can I attend without paying/reserving in advance?
 - Yes, tickets are sold on-site... BUT most dates will sell out, and there will be no more tickets available at the door except to join a group that already has at least one ticket - up to six per entry group.  And it helps parking, wait times, and us, if you plan ahead!  You can always change your date / time with our ticket management page.  If you don't know how big your group is in advance, you can always buy a ticket or two and add more to your group, up to 6, even on sold-out nights.

Where is Haunted Stage Stop?
- Haunted Stage Stop is located at
60 Main St, Rollinsville, Colorado. HSS is in Gilpin County and easily accessible to the Peak to Peak Region, Gilpin County and Boulder County. Our ghosts are 9 minutes from Nederland, 35 minutes from Boulder, 45 minutes from Golden, and 1 hour from Denver.

Where do I park?
- Parking in Rollinsville is extremely limited - PLEASE CARPOOL! Park anywhere you can, legally. Please drive extremely slow through Rollinsville. Please do not park on the Peak to Peak highway. Dirt road parking is fine. Please do not block any driveways.

How many people can I enter with?
- Group size is 1-6 humans. Please break up larger groups into smaller crews. You will not be paired with strangers.

Can we go through the haunted house a second time?
- Of course! Just purchase another ticket.

Can I wear a costume?
- Of course - celebrate Halloween in epic fashion with us!  Full costume masks are not allowed on our premises and you will be asked to leave them in your car.  Covid-precaution facemasks are allowed.

Who is Haunted Stage Stop?
- Haunted Stage Stop is presented by Spookygrass Productions, a collective of ghost whisperers who cultivate haunted house experiences in actually haunted houses. Their previous haunts include Haunted Ferncliff (Allenspark, 2020), and Spookygrass (Gold Hill Inn, 2021).
